From the 6th of November the exclusive Fishergate bus lane is to be reinstated between 11am and 6pm each day. Any motorists using the bus lane will be fined £60. Kenworthy Chiropractic is currently in discussions with the council to allow our patients with restricted mobility permission to use the bus lane so they can park/be dropped off on Theatre Street (not shown on the map , but it's right where it says "NO ACCESS"). We'll let you know how we get on.
In spite of the changes it' still very easy to access Kenworthy Chiropractic as there's ample car parking available in various car parks nearby. On street car parking is also available on Mount Street (adjacent to Theatre Street).
Kenworthy Chiropractic recently took park in the 2017 Leyland Health Mela at the Academy@Worden on Saturday 14th of October. The event was a huge success and we'd like to offer a big thank you to the organisers and all the staff and students that helped make the day run so smoothly. The free posture screens offered by Kenworthy Chiropractic is always one of the most popular apects of any health mela, so in order to cope with the high demand we brought in reinforcements in the guise of Doctor of Chiropractic Lynsey "Bunty" Watson. Lynsey travelled down from her native Scotland to help out and proved to be invaluable: Across the day she assisted Doctor of Chiropractic Johanna McCormick in providing 49 free posture screens. Indeed, the format was so succesful we hope to repeat it at the next health mela in Preston in 2018.
In a past incarnation Kenworthy Chiropractic's clinic mananger worked as a comedy writer for television. One of the last major projects he worked on was a silent animation called Oddbods for Hot Drop Films of Dublin/One Animation of Singapore. At this week's Marché International des Programmes de Communication in Cannes it was announced that Oddbods has been nominated for an International Emmy in the category of animation. Stuart worked on the show from 2015-2017 writing a total of 24 episodes. Indeed, whilst Stuart was helping Johanna to set up the Kenworthy Chiropractic clinic he was still taking breaks to put a final polish on the last few episodes. Oddbods has proved to be an extremely popular show and has been broadcast all over the world, including CiTV and Boomerang in the UK. The other nominees in the category are Revolting Rhymes, an animated adaptation of Roald Dahl’s short stories; Siesta Z from Argentina and Trudes Tier (Trude’s Flatmate) from Germany. The winner will be announced at the The 6th International Emmy Kids Awards on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Cannes, France.
